Reviews Grown Ups Movie and Watch Full HD Format

Thirty years after graduating from high school, five former basketball teammates gather at the lake house where they celebrated their biggest victory to mourn the passing of their late coach. Over the course of the Fourth of July weekend, the five friends realize that just because they've all grown up and started families doesn't mean that they've lost that old spark. Adulthood is what you make of it, and no one at the lake house is eager to be the grown-up of the gang. Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, Kevin James, David Spade, and Rob Schneider star in a film written by Sandler and Fred Wolf, and directed by Dennis Dugan (I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry, You Don't Mess with the Zohan). Maria Bello, Salma Hayek, and Maya Rudolph co-star. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

Review For Grown Ups

Grown Ups is the perfect poster child for this maddening summer of movie mediocrity.
Rene Rodriguez-Miami Herald

The male fantasy of cheerleader spouse, well-adjusted kids and expanding waistline.
Joshua Rothkopf-Time Out

A benignly crude slice of family hysteria.
Joshua Rothkopf-Time Out New York

Lazy is the word.
A.O. Scott-At the Movies

It's not so hilarious that you need to rush to see it but not so bad that you will suffer unduly if you take a chance on its more-or-less family friendly charms.
Connie Ogle-Miami Herald

Grown Ups delivers precious few laughs for the sheer volume of comedy talent on offer.
Peter Debruge-Variety

The title mainly leaves one wondering when Sandler will chose to finally grow up and stop starring in this ongoing series of terrible comedies.
Jeff Beck-Examiner.com

Doesn't so much play like a film than random home movies of Sandler and his usual screen cronies on vacation.
Michael Dequina-TheMovieReport.com

Five forgettable characters reunite for a (lame) joke-filled weekend.
Sarah Sluis-Film Journal International

The second half of Grown Ups isn't good enough to dig its way out of the tremendous hole it's created for itself but it's far from the worse thing Sandler has ever made. Maybe in another 20 years he'll make something funny.
Joshua Starnes-ComingSoon.net

Grown Ups heralds a sad day for comedy nostalgists of a certain age. Call it the day the amusement died.
Mike Scott-Times-Picayune

Surprisingly, amazingly, bafflingly uncomedic and unhilarious.
Matt Neal-The Standard

There's almost no plot, and loads of schmaltz, but the hidden metaphors and cast chemistry makes this a worthwhile effort.
R. L. Shaffer-IGN DVD

A midlife crisis disaster more akin to Billy Madison in search of a second childhood than anything evocative of The Big Chill. Grow up already!
Kam Williams-TheLoop21.com

The shameless sentiment (a cute little girl wants to use the car GPS to locate heaven) and Sandler's ego-tripping (he's married to Salma Hayek, and he's a sure shot on the basketball court) interfere with the laughs.
John Beifuss-Commercial Appeal (Memphis, TN)

Despite some passable gags and a whole posse of middle-aged funnymen, Denis Dugan's comedy is about the least grown-up movie you could see.
Derek Malcolm-This is London

Not much more than an in-joke between the actors, this film is amiable but never funny. And despite some hackneyed moralising, it has nothing to say.
Rich Cline-Shadows on the Wall

You've seen these actors play these characters many times before, and better.
-Total Film

Full of obvious jokes and schmaltzy sentiment, Grown Ups is as much fun as watching endless home movies of people you really don't know very well.
Allan Hunter-Daily Express

Like The Big Chill with farting grandmothers...
Alistair Harkness-Scotsman

Sandler's abysmal script cooks up a bite-sized moral for the finale. Groan ups, more like.
Anthony Quinn-Independent

Reviews Midnight's Children Movie and Watch Full HD Format

At the stroke of midnight on August 15th, 1947, as India declares independence from Great Britain, two babies are switched at birth by a nurse in a Bombay hospital. And so it is that Saleem Sinai, the bastard child of a beggar woman, and Shiva, the only son of a wealthy couple, are fated to live the destinies meant for each other. Over the next three decades, Saleem and Shiva find themselves on opposite sides of many a conflict, whether it be because of class, politics, romantic rivalry, or the constantly shifting borders that are drawn every time neighbors become enemies and decide to split their newborn nation into two, and then three, warring countries. Through it all, the lives of Saleem and Shiva are mysteriously intertwined. They are also inextricably linked to the history of India itself, which takes them on a whirlwind journey full of trials, triumphs and disasters. (c) Paladin

Review For Midnight's Children

Rushdie's characteristic antic humor animates the family scenes, but the movie gets bogged down in endless plot convolutions and whimsy (the material would have worked better as a TV miniseries).
David Denby-New Yorker

In its steady great-books way, the film is often truthful and moving.
Farran Smith Nehme-New York Post

A movie that, if never exactly dull, feels drained of the mythic juice that powers the book, which won the Booker Prize in 1981.
Rachel Saltz-New York Times

The cinematography is memorably vibrant, and the performances are solid, even if they pass by too swiftly. Most of all, of course, the subject matter remains fascinating.
Elizabeth Weitzman-New York Daily News

Midnight's Children has the paradoxical misfortune of being both too rushed and too wearingly long.
Eric Hynes-Time Out New York

So lavish and unwieldy is the book, Rushdie's best, that a film of it can't help but feel like a helpless reduction, like a bucket of water passed off as an ocean.
Alan Scherstuhl-Village Voice

Stirring, beautifully filmed and highly personal history of India does right by Salman Rushdie's celebrated novel.
David Noh-Film Journal International

Both dreamy and dramatic, a fascinating view of Indian history seen through the prism of a personal story.
Marshall Fine-Hollywood & Fine

An ambitious film conveying the complicated and violent early history of India and Pakistan through the stories of two boys born on independence day.
Frederic and Mary Ann Brussat-Spirituality and Practice

Overproduced.
Harvey S. Karten-Compuserve

Deepa Mehta's respectful approach to the material may meander and simplify, but it gradually gains in emotional power, building into a moving account of a man whose many experiences mirror the growing pains of an independent India.
Allan Hunter-Screen International

Preserves much of the novel's intricacy and human drama, perhaps due to Salman Rushdie's involvement as co-screenwriter, even if it remains singularly unremarkable from a cinematic perspective.
Andrew Schenker-Slant Magazine

With an over-written screenplay and far too much material for audiences to digest, this film proves the rule that authors shouldn't adapt their own books into movies.
Rich Cline-Contactmusic.com

Considering Midnight's Children is bound up in notions of identity, it is faintly disastrous that this adaptation should be so lacking in one of its own.
Robbie Collin-Daily Telegraph

The film is stunningly beautiful. And the story retains at least some of the elements that made the novel so special in its imagination, ambition and scope.
Brian Pendreigh-Radio Times

There is not enough space here to detail the plot, which is basically about two boys whose paths are swapped on the evening of India's independence.
Grant Rollings-Sun Online

Lacks soul, imagination and even basic logic.
Matthew Thrift-Little White Lies

There are some beautiful moments and some decent performances, but it's also something of a slog and ultimately fails to engage on an emotional level.
Matthew Turner-ViewLondon
